Our Board of Directors passed a resolution pertaining to the PRIVACY of all those individuals who contact us through our website, via emails or by telephone. This includes a Donor Privacy Policy which is explained in detail under the tab OWW PRIVACY POLICY.
Veterans seeking specific financial or specific medical assistance, in order for us to help them succeed, must grant us express permission to discuss his or her financial needs or medical needs with a 3rd Party. If we are not granted this permission our efforts to successfully help them will be significantly reduced. This Privacy Notice appears on both our Website's Contact Form and Feedback Form.
March 12, 2015:
Our Board of Directors passed a resolution to adopt a policy requiring a Board review every Quarter (3 months) to assess the effectiveness and relevancy of every Program offerred by Operation Wounded Warriors. This includes, in part, a cost anaylsis of the funds allocated for each Program and the relation to the total number of Veterans being assisted by each Program. Results of these reviews may result in 1) an increase in the allocation of funds to the Program, or 2) a reduction in the funding of the Program, or 3) to cancel the Program entirely. We must always ensure that our donations are spent wisely and efficiently when it comes to helping our beloved Veterans.
January 5, 2023:
Our Board of Directors passed a resolution to adopt a major new Program, called OPERATION: HOMEWARD BOUND. It was created to significantly reduce, or eliminate, Veteran Homelessness. Based on the latest reports, there are more than 67,000 homeless Veterans in the United States. This new Program is called Operation: Homeward Bound.
